Aug 29 - 7th

Students put page 3 "Science checklist" and page 4 into their notebooks.

Spent most of class working on the Problem statement WS.

Aug 29 - 8th

Students earned points for having their worksheet complete.

We then discussed best answers for the sheet and started the Molecular Movement Lab.

Students will do a lab write up in their notebook due Friday.

Students checked their grades for all classes and wrote them in their data notebooks.

We then finished the presentation on "What is Science?"

Students completed page 2 of their notebook by putting the checklist in the correct order.

Aug 28 - 8th

Students checked their grades for all classes and recorded them in their data notebooks.

We then finished our discussion on water molecules and put items into our notebooks.

Students finished their games of Paw Powers Jeopardy.

Aug 24 - 8th

Students finished Final Jeopardy from our review of the class expectations.

We then began working on page 2 of our notebook and discussed chemistry and matter.

Students received class expectations that need to be signed and returned. Teacher went over expectations with students.

Aug 22 - 7th and 8th

What an amazing first (half) day of school! Students went through stations to learn expectations at our school.

Students then went to three classes and did various activities related to the eclipse. We then were dismissed from school to observe the event with families and friends.
