Oct 18 - 7th grade

We went over the reading quiz from yesterday that most students really struggled with.

We then did a reading from context activity.

Students then began working on the order of the steps of the vaccine assignment.

Oct 18- 8th

Se went over the two periodic tables from the activities on Monday and Tuesday in the gym.

Students then worked on the mini period table notebook page.

Pages for today were 31- Protons, neutron, electon periodic table

Link for the simulation

Oct 17 - 8th grade

Students finished page 30 in their notebook.

Students turned in the homework assignment from last night (the periodic table information with protons, neutrons, and electrons).

We then discussed how electrons are arranged in energy levels focusing on two things:
1) electrons fill from the inside out
2) they follow the rule of 2,8,8,2

Students went to the gym and organized clues about electrons into the correct elements.

Students should attempt the energy level diagrams for homework.
